Product Overview:
The Bison Water-Filled Barrier Mesh Panel is an anti-climb steel mesh topping designed specifically for the Bison 800mm Water-Filled Barrier. Together, they create a highly visible temporary boundary approximately two metres high, combining the barrier’s Chapter 8 compliant reflective strip with open mesh that preserves sightlines. The system is suitable for public works, roadworks, construction sites, crowd management and roadside schemes where clear separation is required between pedestrians, vehicles and working areas.
The barrier base is easy to position when empty and weighs up to 400kg when filled, providing a stable foundation without permanent ground fixings. Interlocking units rotate through 90 degrees for straight runs, corners and adaptable site layouts. Galvanised, powder-coated welded mesh increases the effective perimeter height and discourages climbing while remaining removable and reusable. In the standard filled configuration, the barrier and mesh assembly has been wind tested to 58mph. Site exposure, ground conditions, gates and changes in direction must still be assessed before installation.

A. No. This product is the mesh panel only. A compatible Bison Water-Filled Barrier is required and is available separately.

A. The anti-climb mesh panel measures approximately 1936mm long by 1056mm high and 35mm wide. When installed on the standard Bison barrier, it creates a combined system height of approximately two metres.
Q. Are couplers and connection fixings included?
A. Fixings should not be assumed to be included unless displayed in the product specification. Compatible fencing couplers are normally required to secure adjoining panels and are available separately.
Q. What wind speed can the completed system withstand?
A. The standard mesh configuration has been wind tested to 58mph when correctly installed on water-filled Bison barriers. Actual suitability depends on exposure, layout, ground conditions and any additional components.
Q. Can the system accommodate corners and gate openings?
A. Bison barriers can turn through angles of up to 90 degrees. Corners and gate openings may require additional connection components, while compatible pedestrian and vehicle gates are supplied separately.
