The GB2 2m Water-Filled Barrier – Security Hoarding Panel is a solid, powder-coated galvanised steel panel designed for installation above the compatible GB2 barrier. It creates an opaque temporary perimeter that restricts views into working areas while helping prevent unauthorised access. The system is suited to construction sites, infrastructure schemes, roadworks and public-facing projects where privacy, clear segregation and controlled access are required.
Unlike open mesh, the solid steel infill helps screen equipment, materials and hazardous operations from public view. When installed with a GB2 barrier filled to the specified level, the completed system stands approximately 2.3m high and has been MIRA wind tested to 38mph in the manufacturer’s standard configuration. Each adjoining barrier can accommodate angles of up to 35 degrees, allowing gradual curves and changes in direction without permanent ground fixing. The modular arrangement can be dismantled, transported and reused as work progresses, although local wind exposure, surface conditions, corners and gate openings must always be assessed before installation.
