The RB22 Steel Hoarding Panel is a solid, powder-coated steel extension designed for installation above the RB22 crash-tested water-filled barrier. It raises the completed system to approximately 2.2m and forms an opaque temporary boundary around roadworks, infrastructure projects, construction sites and restricted work areas. Contractors choose it where privacy, public-facing site separation and controlled access are required without installing permanent foundations.
The solid infill blocks sightlines into active operations, helping conceal equipment, stored materials and potential hazards from public view. Its white powder-coated finish supports repeated exterior use and gives the perimeter a clean, highly visible appearance. When installed with the specified support posts and correctly filled RB22 barriers, the hoarding configuration has been MIRA wind tested to 44mph without reaching failure. Panels can be combined with compatible mesh sections, pedestrian gates and vehicle gates to balance screening, surveillance and site access. Because solid panels create greater wind loading than open mesh, exposed locations, corners, gate openings and changes in direction require a site-specific assessment before installation.
