Product Overview:
The Bison Water-Filled Barrier Solid Hoarding Panel is a robust steel screening panel designed for use with the Bison Water-Filled Barrier. Fitted above the water-ballasted base, it creates a temporary solid boundary approximately two metres high, restricting views into active work areas while retaining the visibility of the barrier’s Chapter 8 compliant reflective strip. It is suitable for construction sites, roadworks, utilities, infrastructure schemes and event compounds where effective separation and visual screening are required.
The barrier remains manageable when empty and weighs up to 400kg when filled, providing substantial stability without permanent ground fixings. Interlocking units rotate through 90 degrees, allowing straight runs, corners and adaptable layouts. The galvanised, powder-coated hoarding panel provides durable outdoor performance and can support promotional graphics or site livery where required. In the standard filled configuration, the Bison barrier and solid hoarding panel assembly has been wind tested to 38mph. Exposure, ground conditions, gates and changes in direction must still be assessed before installation.

A. The panel measures approximately 1938mm long, 1050mm high and 38mm deep. When fitted to the Bison barrier, it creates an overall system height of approximately two metres.
Q. Are couplers and connection fixings included?
A. The panel slots into the compatible barrier and is secured using suitable fencing couplers. Couplers should be ordered separately unless expressly listed as included.
Q. Is the completed system Chapter 8 compliant and wind tested?
A. The barrier base carries a Chapter 8 compliant reflective strip. When correctly water-filled, the standard barrier and solid hoarding panel configuration has been wind tested to 38mph.
