Product Overview:
The RB2000™ Road Safety Water-Filled Barrier is a heavy-duty modular system for separating pedestrians, vehicles and active work areas. Its 1m-high, flat-sided profile creates a clearly defined temporary boundary across roadworks, construction sites, utilities, transport facilities and public events. Manufactured from UV-stabilised moulded polyethylene, each barrier weighs approximately 35kg empty for site positioning and up to 400kg when filled with 365 litres of water, providing substantial resistance to movement.
A patented five-position interlocking connection creates continuous runs and accommodates bends of up to approximately 25 degrees between units. The system has been MIRA wind tested to 72mph when correctly filled, supporting use in exposed locations subject to an appropriate site assessment. Red and white colour options maintain visibility, while the stackable body and integral forklift channels simplify handling, transport and storage. Compatible mesh fencing, steel hoarding and pedestrian or vehicle gates allow the RB2000 system to be adapted for increased height, screening or controlled access. It is intended for temporary traffic and pedestrian delineation rather than certified vehicle-impact restraint.
