Steel Palisade Triple-Pointed ‘W’ Section Pale – 2400mm
£7.20 ex VAT
Product Overview:
Steel Palisade Triple-Pointed ‘W’ Section Systems create a robust permanent perimeter using pressed steel pales fixed to horizontal rails between structural posts. The W-section profile adds stiffness and resistance to bending, while the triple-pointed heads provide a strong visual and physical deterrent against climbing. Supplied in modular 2.75m bays, the system is suited to commercial, industrial and infrastructure sites requiring dependable boundary protection without blocking visibility through the fence line.
The standard 2.0mm W-section pales and galvanised finish provide a practical balance of strength, corrosion resistance and manageable installation. Bolted construction allows individual pales or rails to be replaced if damaged, helping reduce long-term maintenance costs. This system is commonly chosen for warehouses, utility compounds, manufacturing premises and other controlled perimeters where a more formidable barrier is required than decorative railings or general-purpose mesh. Correct post foundations, gate planning and allowances for corners or changes in direction are essential to achieve a secure, aligned installation.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q. Is the pale physically 2400mm long?
A. No. It is designed for a 2400mm installed palisade system, but the pale itself is nominally 2350mm long to provide approximately 50mm ground clearance.
Q. Are the rail fixings supplied with the pale?
A. No. The product includes one steel palisade pale. Two compatible M8 x 35mm saddle-head fixings are normally required and should be purchased separately.
Q. How many pales are required for one standard bay?
A. A standard 2.75m-wide palisade bay normally uses 17 pales. Check the required spacing and existing system specification before ordering replacement components.
Q. Will this pale fit any steel palisade system?
A. Not necessarily. Confirm the ‘W’ profile, pale thickness, fixing-hole positions, height and finish match the existing rails and adjoining pales.
Q. Can the pale be cut to a shorter length?
A. Steel pales can be cut and re-drilled by a competent fabricator, but this may affect hole alignment and corrosion protection. Cut edges should receive suitable protective treatment.
