Corner Slotted Concrete Posts
Product Overview
Corner Slotted Concrete Posts support two fencing bays where a boundary changes direction through 90 degrees. The two pre-formed 50mm slots hold compatible fence panels and concrete gravel board at right angles, helping installers create an accurately aligned and properly supported corner without separate panel brackets. Available in several lengths, the range accommodates low garden fencing through to taller privacy and perimeter boundaries.
Steel-reinforced concrete provides greater resistance to rot, moisture and insect damage than a timber corner post, reducing maintenance and avoiding the need for preservative treatment. Each post should be selected according to the combined height of the fence panel and gravel board, together with the installation depth required for the ground conditions. A corner post is intended for two perpendicular fence runs only; use a three-way slotted concrete post where three runs meet at a T-junction. These posts are substantial and require appropriate lifting assistance during unloading and installation.

Frequently Asked Questions
ToggleQ. Which corner post height should I choose?
A. Select the post according to the combined above-ground height of the fence panel and gravel board:
• 4’6” post – approximately 3ft finished fencing
• 5’9” post – approximately 4ft finished fencing
• 6’9” post – approximately 5ft finished fencing
• 7’9” post – approximately 6ft finished fencing
• 8’9” post – approximately 7ft finished fencing
• 10’ post – approximately 8ft finished fencing
Ground conditions and the required installation depth must also be considered.
Q. What is the difference between a corner post and a three-way post?
A. A corner post accepts two fence runs at a right angle. A three-way post is required at a T-junction where three fencing runs meet.
Q. Are panel clips or brackets required?
A. Not normally. Compatible fence panels and concrete gravel boards slide directly into the post slots. Confirm that the panel thickness suits the 50mm slots.
Q. Can these posts be installed by one person?
A. No. Depending on the selected length, the posts weigh approximately 50kg to 105kg and are awkward to manoeuvre. Appropriate assistance or mechanical lifting should be arranged.
