Product Overview
The Steel Palisade Standard Fish Plate is a galvanised steel connector used to secure horizontal palisade rails through a compatible intermediate post. It passes through the prepared post slot and provides fixing points for the rails positioned on either side. This maintains the alignment of adjoining bays and produces a continuous straight fencing run across commercial, industrial and infrastructure boundaries.
A standard fish plate is useful when assembling a new palisade system, extending an existing run or replacing a missing or damaged connector. Its compact steel construction creates a strong mechanical connection without adding unnecessary bulk around the post. Systems with upper and lower horizontal rails normally require one fish plate at each rail level. Correct compatibility with the posts, rails and M12 fixings must be confirmed before installation. This standard version is intended for straight intermediate positions and should not be substituted for the appropriate end or corner fish plate where the run terminates or changes direction.
