Product Overview:
The Tower Bolt – 4″ 100mm Galvanised (GATEMATE®) provides a compact manual fastening for timber gates, shed doors, outbuildings, shutters and cupboards. Its straight sliding design allows the bolt to engage with the supplied keeper, holding the gate or door firmly in its closed position. The 100mm size is particularly suitable for smaller domestic openings where a longer or heavier gate bolt would be unnecessary.
Galvanised steel construction provides corrosion resistance for indoor and outdoor installations, helping the bolt withstand regular use and changing weather conditions. It can be installed horizontally across a closing edge or vertically where the layout requires an upward or downward shoot. Compatible fixings are supplied, making it straightforward to install onto suitable timber surfaces. A tower bolt provides positive closure and can act as a secondary fastening, but it is not a lock by itself. Where protection against unauthorised access is required, it should be used alongside a Brenton padbolt or another appropriate locking device.
